Tom Annunziato O.D., Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Tom Annunziato established the 1st Eye Care offices in 1977 and is the owner of both practices in Fort Worth and Weatherford. Dr. Tom graduated from the University of Houston College of optometry. He is an Eagle Scout, and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Dr. Tom is a father of five, his favorite activity is spending quality time with his wife Tracey, and family. He has been a marathon cyclist for 22 years, and volunteers his time and medical services to shelters, churches and charities across Texas. He was awarded Optometrist of the Year for the United States in 2005, and the same year, Dr. Annuziato was also awarded Optometrist of the Year for Texas. Dr. Annuziato currently works at the Weatherford and Fort Worth locations, still serving patients with excellence and dedication.

Perry Ayers A.B.O.C., General Manager/ & Certified Optician

Perry has over 26 years of experience in the optical industry and has been with 1st Eye Care now for 20 years. He is available to assist and monitor our patients that require the use of advanced optics to solve difficult visual conditions. Perry enjoys spending time with his family and time in the outdoors participating in wildlife conservation projects.

Lien Lam, O.D., Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Lam joined 1st Eye Care in Fort Worth, January 2004. Dr. Lam graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2001. She earned a Bachelors Degree in Science & Biology from the University of Houston. As a glaucoma certified therapeutic optometrist, Dr. Lam utilizes the latest in technology to diagnosis eye conditions that might otherwise go unnoticed. In her free time, Dr. Lam enjoys her social life, traveling, spending time with her husband and children, reading and exercise.

Michael Latimer, O.D., Doctor of Optometry

Dr. Michael Latimer joined 1st Eye Care in Weatherford, July 2004. Dr. Latimer graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2004 after completing two internships at Houston Eye Associates, specializing in Corneal Disease and the Diagnosis and Management of Glaucoma. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. Dr. Latimer is Secretary of the Tarrant County Optometric Society. In his free time, Dr. Latimer enjoys spending time with his wife and children, playing golf, softball, and snow skiing.

Jennifer Carnes, Insurance Manager

Jennifer is the Insurance Manager for both locations with 15 years experience in the healthcare billing industry. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, is active in her church and loves scrapbooking.

Craig Edward, Optical Manager, Fort Worth and Certified Optician

Craig has 24 years experience in the optical industry. He enjoys working in a professional optometric office where he has access to the tools and name brand products necessary to improve our patients appearance and lifestyle. Craig enjoys sports, history, and working closely with our patients.

Christie Olijnyk, Optometric Technician

Christie is an Optometric Technician with 23 years of experience, and has been with 1st Eye Care for 4 years. Christie enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with family.

Jennifer Brannan, Optometric Technician

Jennifer joined our team in 2008 and has 14 years experience in the industry with both CPO and CPOA certifications. Jennifer enjoys camping and riding 4wheelers.

Becca Annunziato, Optical Technician

Becca is starting her career with 1st Eye Care while attending Tarrant County College. Becca enjoys working out and spending time with family and friends.

Mary Hester, Optical Manager, Weatherford and Certified Optician

Mary is a certified optician and the optical manager of 1st Eye Care Weatherford. Mary has been in the optical industry since 2001 and with 1st Eye Care since 2007. She enjoys the relationships she has developed by working with patients in the town in which she was raised. Mary is currently working to obtain her degree in business/marketing. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her 3 children, shopping, church, and working part time as a group fitness instructor.

Richard Bronaugh, Senior Optician & Lab Manager

Richard has been with 1st Eye Care for over 20 of his almost 40 years in the optical industry. Richard is a US Marine and likes to spend time with family and church.

Nina Rosenbeck, Dispensing Optician

Nina is a dispensing optician and began her career with 1st Eye Care in 2012. She has her Bachelor’s of Science in criminal justice from the University of Toledo. Nina enjoys training and showing English jumpers and cutting horses and in 2010 and 2012 placed in the top ten at the AQHA Congress horse show.

Hope Smith, Optometric Assistant

Hope has 20 years experience in optometry, 10 years with 1st Eye Care. Hope enjoys spending time with family and bike riding.

Kelly Luecke, Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and Front Desk Manager

Kelly is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and the front desk manager. She has over 17 years experience in the industry and has been with 1st Eye Care since 2006. Kelly likes working closely with patients to provide quality eye care on a professional and personal level. Kelly has been married over 20 years to a Weatherford Police Investigator and has three children. When she is not working, she likes spending time with family, traveling, and photography.

Natalie Freymuth, Front Desk/Receptionist

Natalie has been with 1st Eye Care since 2011. She has lived in Weatherford her whole life and enjoys working in her hometown. Natalie is married to a Weatherford Police Officer, and in her spare time enjoys shopping, pedicures and spending time with her family.

Liberty Boydstun, Optometric Technician

Liberty is an optometric technician with over four years experience. She has been with 1st Eye Care since 2012. Liberty enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with her friends and family.
